The exchange engine for prediction markets on sports.
Predor brings together order book matching, a built-in market maker, settlement and an operator back office. It connects to the operator's existing wallet, so players trade with the balance they already have.
Riverside FC vs. Northgate United
Every outcome is a real order book.
Players trade with each other and with the built-in market maker, at the prices they choose. Prices move because people trade, not because a bookmaker changes a line.
- Limit and market orders, buy and sell
- At the same price, player orders fill before the market maker's
- Prices from 0.01 to 0.99, which read as a probability
- Only the taker pays a fee
| Price | Shares | Order from |
|---|---|---|
| 0.58 | 400 | Market maker |
| 0.57 | 120 | Player |
| 0.56 | 300 | Market maker |
| 0.56 | 85 | Player |
| spread 0.02 · tick 0.01 | ||
| 0.54 | 200 | Player |
| 0.54 | 250 | Market maker |
| 0.53 | 150 | Player |
| 0.52 | 400 | Market maker |
At the same price, player orders fill before the market maker's. Then first in, first out.
Eight building blocks, all working today.
Everything an operator needs to list markets, let players trade and pay them out, connected to the systems the operator already runs.
Exchange engine
Central limit order book, one book per outcome. Limit and market orders, buy and sell, whole shares. Price priority, then players before the market maker, then first in, first out.
Built-in market maker
Quotes every outcome from live reference prices, or from a price the operator sets by hand. Works inside a budget per market and steps out of the book when the price feed goes stale.
Market catalog
Import events from a prediction market catalog, keep them as drafts and publish them under your own categories, sports and tournaments. Feature the ones you want on the front page.
Prices and results feed
Reference prices and observed results stream into the exchange, with a heartbeat so the engine knows when the feed is fresh.
Wallet integration
Signed connection to the operator's wallet: authenticate, balance, debit, credit and rollback. Failed credits retry on their own, and each payment can only happen once.
Settlement and market control
Pause and resume markets. Settle from the provider's result or by hand, and roll a settlement back if it was wrong. Every operator decision is recorded.
Live updates
Order books, market status and each player's own orders and positions, pushed live. A lighter best price feed for the lobby. Every connection in the player's language.
Player API and web app
API for orders, cancellations, portfolio, positions and order history, plus a reference web app with lobby, search, event pages, portfolio and order ticket.
Sports, politics, economy and more.
The catalog draws on prediction market events. The operator picks what to publish, how to group it and which ones to feature.
Sports
Organized by sport and tournament, with market types set per sport.
Politics
Elections, votes and government decisions.
Economy
Interest rates, inflation and economic data releases.
And more
Other categories from the same catalog, published the same way.
Your license decides what you offer
Which categories go live, sports only or sports and non-sports events, depends on each operator and the rules where it operates. Nothing reaches players until the operator publishes it, so the catalog can follow each license and each market's regulation.
- Per operator
- Per license and regulation
- Per category and event
- Names in the player's language
From an imported event to a paid-out market.
Six steps, in this order. The operator decides what gets published and can step in at any point after that.
Import
The event and its markets come from a prediction market and land in the catalog.
Review
The event stays as a draft until an operator publishes it.
Publish
The exchange opens a book for each outcome and the market maker starts quoting.
Trade
Players trade with each other and with the market maker. The operator can pause and resume the market.
Resolve
The result arrives from the provider, or the operator sets it by hand.
Settle
Winning shares are credited to the operator wallet, once. A wrong result can be rolled back and settled again.
From the catalog to a live market, step by step.
Real screens from our back office. This is what the operator uses day to day to choose sports, tournaments and events and to set up the market maker.

What the exchange can earn.
Revenue comes from the taker fee on every matched trade. Move the sliders to estimate it with your own numbers.
- Traded volume per month
- 1,000,000
- Fee per bet
- 0.15
- Fee revenue per year
- 180,000
Example values. The 3% rate and the 0.07 minimum are the current settings in our development environment; each operator sets its own. Every matched trade has one taker, who pays the fee; resting orders pay nothing. Not included: the market maker's result, which can be a gain or a loss depending on outcomes, and any revenue-share agreement. Amounts in the operator's currency.
What Predor does that most pitches leave out.
These are design decisions already in the code, not plans.
Prices on both sides from the first minute
A new market opens with the built-in market maker quoting from live reference prices. The operator sets the budget per market; the engine does the quoting.
The book only changes after the database commits
Every trade and its settlement are written in one database transaction. The order book in memory is updated only after that transaction succeeds. On restart, the book is rebuilt from the database.
A wrong result can be undone
A settlement can be rolled back. The money is reversed with its own entries, the market is settled again by hand, and each decision is kept in an audit trail.
Built for the operator's existing wallet
Players don't move money into a separate balance. Buys debit the operator wallet before the order is posted, and change and winnings are credited back with automatic retries.
Multilingual from the server
Events and markets are translated automatically into the languages the operator turns on. The API and the live updates answer in the player's language, and search works in it too.
Fees players already understand
Only the taker pays, with the same formula prediction markets use: highest near 0.50, lowest near the extremes. The operator sets the rate and a minimum per order.
